Job summary

Graduate Career Solutions in Norwich is seeking an Electronics Area Manager to drive targeted sales and grow our product range across a geographic territory. You will report to the District Sales Manager and manage a portfolio of customers with multiple contact points, from design concept through to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree ideally in electronics or an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' proven sales success in relevant product, service, engineering or OEM.
• Strong intellect, desire to develop professionally, natural curiosity and analytical aptitude.
• Experience in a design-led sales environment with design/procurement/engineering teams.
• Understand project management from design concept through life cycle (6 months to 2 years).
• Must have strong negotiation skills, high energy, and be driven to perform.
• Willingness to travel nationally with some international travel.
• Must hold a full UK driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Growing sales and profit within the territory by increasing active projects across multiple customers.
• Being active with customers within territory in person and remotely.
• Managing projects, working with our customers from design concept through to production lifecycle.
• Regular territory management reviews for support and growth.
• Provide our customers with personalized account management that closely supports their business by making us their electronics supplier.
• Develop market strategies by researching high potential prospects.
• Full responsibility of your territory to increase customer numbers and spend in line with growth goals.
