Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years’ proven sales success in electronics/engineering domains.
• Experience selling electronic components (passives, capacitors, EMC).
• Experience in design-led technical sales and working with design/engineering teams.
• Ability to work with procurement/purchasing and internal teams.
• Experience selling into OEMs/manufacturers with long sales cycles.
• Willingness to travel nationally and some international travel.
• UK driving license held.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined geographic territory in Hampshire and the South West.
• Develop long-term relationships with existing customers and win new business.
• Sell passive, EMC components and capacitors across projects from concept to production.
• Identify opportunities and drive multiple account engagements across organisations.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain active territory presence (face-to-face and remote).
• Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement to understand requirements.
• Provide technical account management and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Manage projects through longer sales cycles from concept to production.
• Negotiate commercial terms to secure new projects and increase spend.
• Represent the company’s component range professionally in the UK market.
