Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Repairs Team. The role covers inspection, fault-finding, repair, refurbishment and rebuild of electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs from service.

You will develop knowledge of Saab Seaeye's ROV product range, working from component level to final testing and sign-off. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and rebuilding assemblies, using test equipment and drawings, performing soldering and loom work, and contributing to

• Experience repairing electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
• Ability to perform structured fault-finding and root cause analysis.
• Skilled in soldering and assembly work to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and rebuild electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
• Perform structured fault-finding using drawings and schematics.
• Carry out soldering and loom work to required quality standards.
• Work on complex assemblies and assist with testing and sign-off.
