Job summary

Saab UK is inviting applications for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Repairs Team. The role covers inspection, fault-finding, repair, refurbishment and rebuild of electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs returned from service.

The successful candidate will gain knowledge across Saab Seaeye's ROV product range, from component level to final testing and sign-off. Key responsibilities include diagnosing faults, carrying out assembly work, testing, and maintaining repair records while

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical repair and fault-finding.
• Soldering and assembly as per quality standards.
• Maintain repair records and use test equipment for verification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and re-build electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
• Carry out fault-finding using drawings, schematics and test equipment.
• Perform soldering, wiring loom work and assembly tasks to quality standards.
• Work on complex electro-mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and assist with pressure, leak and soak testing.
• Complete repairs and refurbishment accurately, meeting quality and delivery targets.
• Identify recurring faults and improvement opportunities and feed back to Leads.
