Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a qualified Electrician to join a dedicated maintenance team covering Southampton and surrounding areas. You will deliver responsive electrical repairs across domestic properties, perform fault diagnosis, complete minor works and consumer unit upgrades, conduct periodic testing and issue digital certificates, while maintaining high safety standards and clear communication with residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) is highly advantageous.

• Attending daily responsive maintenance tickets and carrying out fault diagnosis, electrical repairs, and component replacements.
• Completing minor works and consumer unit upgrades where required.
• Conducting periodic testing and inspection on domestic installations, issuing digital certs.

• City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing (highly advantageous).
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential for van insurance).
• Proven experience in domestic responsive maintenance or social housing sector.
