Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover Woking and surrounding Surrey areas. You will perform day-to-day electrical repairs, fault finding, testing, and remedial works in occupied and void social housing properties.

You will carry out testing/inspection to 18th Edition standards and manage daily job orders via a mobile device, ensuring excellent resident service and professional conduct on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic social housing maintenance or void refurbishments.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential for company vehicle insurance).
• Demonstrated ability to complete testing and remedial work to 18th Edition standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair work in domestic properties.
• Perform testing, inspection (EICRs), and remedial works to 18th Edition BS7671.

Salary: £43,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join a high-performing domestic maintenance contract covering housing stock across Woking and local surrounding areas. You will be carrying out day-to-day electrical responsive repairs, fault finding, testing, and remedial works in occupied and void social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair work in domestic properties.
• Perform testing, inspection (EICRs), and remedial works in accordance with 18th Edition standards.
• Complete daily job scheduling and work orders efficiently using a mobile handheld device.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional standards with local residents.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or C&G Level 3 equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• C&G 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing certification (highly desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in domestic social housing, void refurbishments, or responsive repairs.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential for company vehicle insurance).
