Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a fully qualified Domestic Electrician to join our Capital (planned refurbishments) team. You will work on domestic installations across New Forest, Hampshire and towards Surrey, isolating and making safe electricals, installing sockets, lights, showers, and renew CCUs.

We offer a competitive salary of £42,263 for a 39-hour week, bonus schemes, a company van and fuel card, uniform and PPE, paid holidays, pension contributions, life insurance, and access to free

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition certificate required
• AM2 certification required
• Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing (2391-52)
• Full UK Driving licence essential

Responsibilities

• Completing domestic works, isolating and making safe existing electrical installations and installing or relocating sockets, fused spurs, fans, lights, showers, pumps and renewing CCUs
• Ensuring installations of works surrounding kitchens & bathroom upgrade programs are completed to a quality standard, and post inspections are completed
• Validation on electrical repairs, small works, and test & inspections
• Taking pride in health and safety is key to the success of this role, ensuring all actions are communicated effectively and recorded
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in occupied properties in a customer facing environment

The Domestic Electrician Role

What will you bring as a Domestic Electrician?

• Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician or similar professional body (e.g., City & Guilds), 18th Edition certificate, and AM2 is essential
• Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (2391-52)
• Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of domestic environments
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role.
