Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a qualified Domestic Electrician to join our Capital (planned refurbishments) team. You will undertake domestic electrical works in Stroud, Gloucester and Cheltenham, with a focus on safety, quality and customer service in occupied properties.We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 for a 39-hour week, with on target earnings up to £44,000 including bonus, overtime and travel expenses, plus a company van, uniform, PPE, PDA, holidays, pension and life insurance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrician or City & Guilds equivalent.
• 18th Edition certificate.
• AM2 qualification.
• Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing (2391-52).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out domestic electrical works and testing/certification.
• Upholding health and safety and recording actions.
• Providing excellent customer service in occupied homes.

The Domestic Electrician Role

• Completing domestic works, including wiring sockets, fuse spurs, fans, lights, showers, pumps and renewing CCUs with the ability to test and certify the work
• Taking pride in health and safety is key to the success of this role, ensuring all actions are communicated effectively and recorded
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in occupied properties in a customer facing environment.

What will you bring as an Domestic Electrician?

• Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician or similar professional body (e.g., City & Guilds), 18th Edition certificate, and AM2 is essential
• Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (2391-52)
• Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of domestic environments
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role.
