Oakmoor Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrician willing to move into a training role. The Electrical Trainer position offers up to £41k and is based across Plymouth and Exeter training centres, with a split between sites.

This is a full-time, permanent role with comprehensive training provided. You will deliver courses including the 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification, mentor learners, and train apprentices to meet awarding body standards in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical experience.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• DBS clearance advantageous and compliant with role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of process qualifications.
• Mentor and coach learners in the workplace.

The Role: Coaching the Next Generation

You will be involved in delivering commercial courses including the 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.

Essential Requirements (Your Experience is Your Qualification)

We are looking for proven occupational experience as an Electrician.

• Occupational Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience as an Electrician.
• Technical Qualification:Level 3 or above Electrical qualification / apprenticeship (desirable)
• Soft Skills: Good communication, presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rewarding environment.
• Compliance: This position is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Full UK Driving License, and use of own car
