Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is assisting Ellesmere Port-based employer to recruit a Trainee Electrical Trainer. The role offers £37,000 per year, full-time permanent employment with funded training and progression toward teaching qualifications.

You will train and mentor learners undertaking Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Maintenance qualifications, delivering practical sessions, coordinating assessments, and upholding awarding body standards in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within Electrical Engineering or Electrical Industrial Maintenance in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Level 3 Electrical related qualification.
• Good communication and presentation skills; able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of electrical maintenance qualifications and coordination of assessments.
• Mentor and coach learners in the training centre.
• Train apprentices in line with awarding body standards.

The Role: Coaching the Next Generation

You will be involved in teaching, coaching, and mentoring young learners undertaking crucial Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Maintenance qualifications

Essential Requirements (Your Experience is Your Qualification)

We are looking for proven occupational experience in the field of Electrical Maintenance / Engineering:

• Occupational Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within Electrical Engineering or Electrical Industrial Maintenance (within a production / manufacturing / plant environment)
• Technical Qualification: Mandatory Level 3 Electrical related qualification.
• Soft Skills: Good communication, presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rewarding environment.
• Compliance: This position is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.
