Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrician ready to move into a training career in Plymouth or Exeter. This Electrical Trainer role is full-time and permanent with fully funded training and ongoing progression.

Starting salary up to £37,000 with a £1k increase after 6 months and further rises after gaining the Assessor qualification, plus a bonus potential. You will deliver and coordinate commercial courses including the 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification, mentoring

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience as an Electrician.
• Level 3 or above Electrical qualification / apprenticeship (desirable).
• Good communication, presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rewarding environment.
• This position requires Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Full UK Driving Licence and use of own car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of process qualifications.
• Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to learners in the workplace.
• Train apprentices in line with awarding body standards.
• Work in a rewarding, self-motivated team environment that values a hands-on approach.
