Job description

Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking an Electrician to join our team to carry out electrical work on social housing properties for our Milton Keynes council contract. You will be responsible for conducting EICRs on void and occupied properties, including but not limited to:

• Installing extractor fans
• Carrying out installations, servicing, and maintenance on electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations
• Completing reports such as Electrical certificates and condition reports accurately

You will also be expected to provide high levels of customer care at all times.

Key Criteria:

• Recent experience in the above duties
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, including AM2
• 18th Edition wiring regulations (or 17th Edition with a commitment to obtain the qualification)
• Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for more than 3 months, and have less than 9 points on your license.
