Job Description:

Salary and Benefits

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Major Job Functions

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting systems.
• Inspect and test components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals to complete projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools; terminate power, control, and monitoring wiring.

Knowledge

Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical systems.

Accountability

Work in industrial and commercial settings (not domestic), following BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electrical codes, and NICEIC requirements.

Education and Experience

• CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation
• Test & inspection qualifications (2394/2395 or 2391)
• Full UK driver’s license
• Experience with fire alarm installation
• Containment installation experience (ladder, tray, basket, galvanised conduit)

Desirable qualifications include confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, and SSSTS certifications.
