Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a key business and influential player in the global energy market. The company owns landfill gas assets and has a growth plan into the Anaerobic Digestion sector too.

We're looking for an Electrical Technician to join their team of multi-skilled technicians. The role involves responsible for complex fault diagnosis and maintenance on reciprocating engines, generators, electrical distribution, and controls on power stations, to ensure optimum production and reduced downtime.

Responsibilities and duties

1. Lead fault diagnostics for reciprocating engine electrical/electronic controls, instrumentation, LV/HV apparatus, and balance-of-plant systems to enhance power station performance and revenue.
2. Support 24/7 operation of the power station's generating units and ancillary equipment in accordance with standard procedures, ensuring maximum efficiency and revenue.
3. Perform planned and corrective maintenance on electrical, electronic, control, and instrumentation systems to enhance reliability, improve productivity, and minimize downtime.
