Job Title: Bioresources Maintenance Technician

Salary: Circa £55k depending on experience (including 15% shift allowance) + overtime available

Employment Type: Full-time, 40.25 hours per week, across a 7-day working pattern, permanent position

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, you will be part of a site maintenance team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Water Recycling Bioresources assets. Your work will support the safe operation of these assets, contributing to wastewater treatment, renewable energy production, and supporting Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative and condition-based maintenance
• Electrical and instrumentation work across site assets
• Support operational teams in maintaining asset integrity and safety

Qualifications and Experience:

• Industrial electrical apprenticeship
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 (electrical or engineering maintenance)
• ONC/OND in electrical engineering
• City and Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Proven electrical experience in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of 3-phase switchgear, control systems, telemetry, actuated valves, and motors
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Full UK driving license

Desirable Skills:

• Previous DSEAR COMPEX training
• Knowledge of gas and steam systems
