Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer – Data Centre Projects

Location: Remote

Contract Type: Initial 12-month Contract (Rolling)

Duration: Projects Lasting 2+ Years

Rate: Dependent on Experience (DOE) – Outside or Inside IR35

Are you a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with experience in Data Centre projects?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a renowned multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in the Building Services industry. This consultancy has an excellent track record working on large-scale, high-profile projects, and this role offers the chance to work on two massive Data Centre projects expected to last 2+ years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of electrical systems for Data Centre projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of electrical installations.
• Provide technical expertise, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Monitor and review electrical engineering designs to ensure they meet project requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Data Centre projects.
• Extensive background in Electrical Building Services design.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Amtech, and other electrical design tools.
