Job summary

Vivid Housing seeks two Electrical Supervisors to lead a team of electricians and external contractors, delivering high-quality, compliant electrical services across the North Hampshire area from our Basingstoke office.

You will manage performance, develop staff, and conduct 90-day reviews, ensuring training plans are written and followed. The role includes inspections, certification, budgets, and strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Must hold City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Must have a recognised Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
• Experience delivering repairs or maintenance in regulatory/compliance environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and budget-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Line-manage a team of electricians and external contractors to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct regular 1-1s and 90-day reviews; develop and action training plans.
• Carry out quality inspections and sign off certification for works completed by the team.
• Manage departmental budgets and monitor expenditure; minimise unnecessary spend.
• Undertake post-completion and progress inspections; ensure regulatory compliance (Lifts, LOLER, Legionella).
