Job summary

BCHA in the South of England is hiring an Electrical Supervisor to lead the electrical team, ensure safety, compliance, and maintenance across properties, including testing and EICRs. You'll report to the Repairs Manager and manage contractors and programmes.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds qualifications, a driving licence, and proven supervisory experience in electrical services within housing or facilities management.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a qualified electrician and the ability to demonstrate experience or potential in a supervisory role.
Experience leading and developing a team of electricians and delivering electrical services across multiple properties.
Knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations and relevant electrical compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and develop a team of electricians.
Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and all statutory electrical requirements.
Oversee electrical testing, inspections, EICRs and certification.
Carry out quality audits and inspections of electrical work.
Act as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and support annual assessments.
Manage work programmes, contractor performance and work-in-progress.
Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.
Work collaboratively with customer services and other trade supervisors to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
