Southampton City Council seeks an experienced Electrical Manager to lead the Gas and Electrical Services team within Housing Works. You will oversee a trade team delivering repairs and maintenance to over 16,000 council properties across the city, ensuring compliance and quality.

The role requires NICEIC qualification, strong people management, and the ability to manage budgets, tenders and contractor performance.

Formación

• Experience leading a team of electricians within housing repairs or similar.
• NICEIC certification and supervisory sign-off capability required.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting experience.
• Proven ability to manage contracts and sub‑contractors with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a designated team of electricians and oversee daily operations.
• Ensure compliance and delivery of electrical cyclical maintenance and certifications.
• Tender, quote and manage budgets, expenditure reports and project forecasting.
• Manage contractor and staff performance, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
