Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking an Electrical Field Manager to oversee day-to-day electrical service delivery across its estate. You will lead a team of engineers and coordinate specialist subcontractors to deliver planned, reactive, and quoted works from diagnosis to completion.

The role focuses on operational leadership, technical support, client coordination, and progressing works with attention to safety, quality and value for money. Based in Whiteley, Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising engineers and subcontractors.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical maintenance and service delivery.
• Excellent communication with clients and engineers.
• IT literate and able to use CAFM and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of electrical services across the contract.
• Manage directly employed engineers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate resources, materials and access for works.
• Review quotes, approve scopes, and progress tasks to completion.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and RAMS across works.
