FM Search & Select Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Supervisor for a Glasgow contract. The role leads a team of 5 engineers, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance to meet KPIs, with a hands-on approach when needed.

The package includes a salary up to £47,000 DOE, a 37-hour week with a 1pm finish on Fridays, a company van and fuel card, and a 1 in 12 on-call rota. Based in Glasgow, the role supports delivery with the Account Manager and ensures compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification.
• Strong technical electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services or commercial maintenance.
• Good knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence coordinating and supporting engineers.
• Good client-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus.

FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a key contract in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrically biased engineer who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory position, or an existing Supervisor looking for a role that still allows them to remain technically involved.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, where you'll be responsible for coordinating and supporting a team of 5 engineers, while working closely with the Account Manager to ensure the successful delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the contract.

The Role

• Supervise, coordinate and support a team of 5 engineers


• Assist the Account Manager with the day‑to‑day delivery of engineering services


• Allocate engineering resources across planned and reactive works


• Monitor reactive jobs to ensure agreed KPIs and response times are achieved


• Monitor PPM activity and ensure works are completed on schedule


• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers


• Remain hands‑on and assist with reactive and engineering works when required


• Work closely with the Administrator to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows


• Ensure relevant compliance documentation and certifications remain up to date


• Liaise directly with the client and on‑site teams


• Identify and escalation any issues that could impact service delivery


• Promote safe working practices and ensure works meet company and client standards

About You

• Recognised electrical qualification


• Strong technical electrical maintenance experience


• Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Services or commercial maintenance


• Good knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance


• Strong organisational and communication skills


• Confidence coordinating and supporting engineers


• Good client‑facing skills


• Full UK driving licence


• Previous supervisory/team leadership experience would be advantageous, although experienced engineers looking to take their first step into supervision will also be considered
