Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to deliver both planned and reactive FM maintenance across client sites in the Portsmouth area. You will lead a team of engineers, supervise subcontractors, and ensure PMs and RAMS compliance while upholding Health & Safety standards.

The role requires City & Guilds 2360, 18th Edition, and a driving licence; willingness to join a call-out rota. This position offers long-term career progression within a leading UK facilities

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising in facilities/engineering.
• Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance and repair work.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver electrical maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites.
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with schedules and contractual requirements.
• Lead, manage and support a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in RAMS and site rules.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and participate in training and development.

Job description

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Electrical Supervisor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

The Electrical Supervisor, will be responsible for:

• Supervise and deliver electrical maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites.
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with schedules and contractual requirements.
• Lead, manage and support a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with Mitie and site Health & Safety policies.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and site rules.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and actively participate in training, appraisals, and development activities.

To be successful for this Electrical Supervisor role you must have:

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Experience in Team Leading or Supervising in Facilities/Engineering.
• Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work or relevant compliance understanding.
• IT literacy, with the ability to accurately record work and documentation.
• Willingness to join a call-out rota and hold a full UK driving licence.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS/ECC and IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
