Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Supervisor for a Glasgow contract. The role leads a team of 5 engineers, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance to meet KPIs, with a hands-on approach when needed.

The package includes a salary up to £47,000 DOE, a 37-hour week with a 1pm finish on Fridays, a company van and fuel card, and a 1 in 12 on-call rota. Based in Glasgow, the role supports delivery with the Account Manager and ensures compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification.
• Strong technical electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services or commercial maintenance.
• Good knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence coordinating and supporting engineers.
• Good client-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and support a team of 5 engineers.
• Assist the Account Manager with day-to-day delivery of engineering services.
• Allocate resources across planned and reactive works.
• Monitor reactive jobs to hit KPIs and response times.
• Monitor PPM activity and completion on schedule.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers.
• Remain hands-on when required to support reactive works.
• Work with on-site teams and client to maintain records and workflows.
• Ensure compliance documentation and certifications are up to date.
