Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading facilities management provider on a large, long-term commercial healthcare contract in Central London.

You will supervise up to 8 engineers, manage electrical maintenance and PPMs, and ensure safe, compliant delivery while supporting audits and site records. This role offers progression within a major FM operation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.
• Strong commercial electrical maintenance experience is essential.
• Electrical fault-finding and building services knowledge is needed.
• Experience as Supervisor, Lead Engineer or Senior Engineer is preferred.
• FM / commercial building maintenance experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of up to 8 Electrical Engineers on site.
• Manage electrical PPM and reactive maintenance activities.
• Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs as required.
• Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to drive performance.
• Manage remedial and additional works efficiently.
• Ensure statutory and site compliance is maintained.
• Handle jobs and PPMs through the CAFM system.
• Provide technical support to engineers and review works.
• Mentor and develop engineers and participate in audits.

Electrical Supervisor

Location: Hammersmith

Salary: £50,000 – £53,000 DOE

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

On Call: 1 in 3

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Lead Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a large, long-term commercial healthcare contract in Central London.

This position would suit an established Electrical Supervisor or a strong Lead Electrical Engineer looking to step up into their first Supervisor role.

The Role

Working as part of an established engineering team, you will oversee up to 8 engineers and support the day-to-day delivery of electrical maintenance across the site.

Duties will include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of Electrical Engineers
• Managing electrical PPM and reactive maintenance
• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
• Overseeing contractors and subcontractors
• Monitoring KPIs and SLAs
• Managing remedial and additional works
• Ensuring statutory and site compliance is maintained
• Managing jobs and PPMs through the CAFM system
• Providing technical support to engineers
• Carrying out quality checks on completed works
• Supporting audits, compliance documentation and site records
• Ensuring safe systems of work and site procedures are followed
• Assisting with the training and development of engineers
• Participating in a 1-in-3 on-call rota

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Strong commercial electrical maintenance experience
• Electrical fault-finding and building services knowledge
• Previous Supervisor, Lead Engineer or Senior Engineer experience
• Experience within FM / commercial building maintenance
• 18th Edition beneficial but not essential
• Healthcare or critical environment experience advantageous but not essential
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Lead Electrical Engineers who are already supporting engineers, overseeing works or taking on supervisory responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
