Job summary

Electrical Site Manager in Manchester to deliver the electrical package on a major new build residential development. You will manage electrical installation works, supervise site teams, coordinate with other M&E trades and monitor programme, quality and safety throughout the project.

Ideal candidates have a strong building services background, can read electrical drawings, and hold SMSTS with ECS/JIB or equivalent qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Site Manager / Electrical Supervisor.
• Background in building services / M&E.
• Experience on large-scale residential or similar developments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong health & safety knowledge and site procedures.

A leading Tier 1 M&E contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join their team on a major new build residential development in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Site Manager with a strong building services / M&E background to join a well-established contractor working on a high-profile development.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the electrical package on site, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to a high standard.

• Managing electrical installation works and subcontractors
• Supervising site teams and labour
• Coordinating electrical works with other M&E trades and the wider construction team
• Monitoring programme, progress and quality
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and RAMS
• Liaising with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors and the main contractor
• Ensuring health & safety and quality standards are maintained
• Attending site meetings and providing progress updates
• Assisting with commissioning, snagging and handover

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as an Electrical Site Manager / Electrical Supervisor
• Strong building services / M&E background
• Experience working on large-scale residential, apartment, student accommodation or similar developments
• Good understanding of electrical installations and construction processesConfident managing subcontractors and site teams
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and site procedures
• SMSTS
• ECS / JIB or relevant electrical qualification

Relevant experience on major new build projects is essential.
