You will manage installation works, supervise on-site teams, coordinate with M&E trades, review drawings and RAMS, and ensure safety and quality standards meet programme requirements.

The role demands strong leadership of subcontractors and a solid building services background.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor on large-scale builds.
• Strong building services / M&E background.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Solid knowledge of health & safety and site procedures (SMSTS).
• ECS / JIB or relevant electrical qualification.

• Monitoring programme, progress and quality.

Permanent Position | Major New Build Residential Development

A leading Tier 1 M&E contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join their team on a major new build residential development in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Site Manager with a strong building services / M&E background to join a well-established contractor working on a high-profile development.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the electrical package on site, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing electrical installation works and subcontractors
• Supervising site teams and labour
• Coordinating electrical works with other M&E trades and the wider construction team
• Monitoring programme, progress and quality
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and RAMS

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as an Electrical Site Manager / Electrical Supervisor
• Strong building services / M&E background
• Experience working on large-scale residential, apartment, student accommodation or similar developments
• Good understanding of electrical installations and construction processes
• Confident managing subcontractors and site teams
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and site procedures
• SMSTS
• ECS / JIB or relevant electrical qualification

Relevant experience on major new build projects is essential.
