Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking an Electrical Site Manager to lead on a prestigious London CAT A/B commercial fit-out project worth £2 million. The role focuses on delivering electrical works safely, on time, and to high standards with strong coordination across MEP disciplines.

The ideal candidate has contractor-side electrical experience, be skilled in reading drawings, and possess excellent leadership and health & safety awareness. London-based, full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing electrical works on large projects.
• CAT A / CAT B fit-out experience desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of electrical works on site
• Oversee electrical works across the contract value (£2m)
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams
• Plan and sequence electrical installation works
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information
• Monitor progress against programme
• Attend site progress and coordination meetings
• Liaise with main contractor, consultants and client representatives
• Identify and resolve technical issues
• Maintain high workmanship standards
• Manage snagging through to completion
• Support testing, commissioning and handover

Electrical Site Manager – London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a leading, award-winning MEP contractor working on a prestigious £2 million contract in London.

We are looking for an experienced electrical professional with a strong contractor-side background and proven experience delivering CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects.

The Role

As Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the electrical works across the £2 million contract, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical works on site
• Take responsibility for electrical works across the £2m contract
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams
• Plan and sequence electrical installation works
• Coordinate electrical works with other MEP disciplines
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information
• Monitor progress against programme
• Attend site, progress and coordination meetings
• Liaise with the main contractor, consultants and client representatives
• Identify and resolve technical and installation issues
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
• Manage snagging through to completion
• Support testing, commissioning and handover
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with health & safety requirements

Previous CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out experience is highly desirable.

You should have a strong understanding of electrical installation and coordination within a commercial fit-out environment.

• Proven experience working for an electrical or MEP contractor
• Experience managing electrical works on projects of significant value
• CAT A / CAT B fit-out experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programmes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong health & safety awareness
