Job summary

Kedro Search is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical packages on central London commercial CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.

You will manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, ensuring programme, budget, safety and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification.
• Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree.
• Strong experience delivering commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.
• Experience managing electrical packages valued between £1m and £7m.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical packages on commercial CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Oversee programme, quality, health & safety and project delivery.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical and project issues.
• Manage labour, materials and project resources.
• Work with the commercial team and attend project meetings.
• Provide regular project updates and manage testing, commissioning and handover.

Electrical Project Manager

Location: Central London

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + Package

Sector: Commercial CAT A & CAT B Fit Out

MEP Project Values: £1m - £7m

An established and reputable MEP Contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team, working on commercial projects across Central London.

The company has been established for over 20 years, has a turnover of approximately £25m, and specialises in delivering high-quality commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.

Projects are predominantly based in Central London, with typical MEP values ranging from £1m to £7m.

The Role

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical package from commencement through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to budget and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team throughout the project lifecycle.

The role will include:

• Managing electrical packages on commercial CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.
• Managing electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Managing programme, quality, health & safety and project delivery.
• Monitoring progress and resolving technical and project issues.
• Managing labour, materials and project resources.
• Working closely with the commercial team.
• Attending project meetings and providing regular project updates.
• Managing testing, commissioning and handover.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager working for an MEP / Building Services Contractor.
• Strong experience delivering commercial CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out projects.
• Experience managing electrical packages valued between £1m and £7m.
• SMSTS qualification.
• A relevant electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree.
• Qualifications in Electrical Installations, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services and MEP project delivery.
• Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
