Job summary

Lee Construction Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead high-profile commercial fit-out projects across London. You will be responsible for delivering CAT A and CAT B schemes on time, within budget and to the required electrical standards.

In this role you will manage electrical installation programmes, coordinate with main contractors, Consultants and clients, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing electrical projects in the commercial fit-out sector.
• Experience delivering CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Taking overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality and commercial performance.
• Managing site teams, Electrical Supervisors, subcontractors and other project resources.
• Working closely with Main Contractors, Consultants, Clients and other project stakeholders.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Coordinating electrical installations with other trades and project disciplines.
• Monitoring project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Managing procurement of materials, plant and subcontractors.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with relevant electrical regulations, legislation and health & safety requirements.
• Attending progress meetings and providing regular project updates.
• Managing variations, valuations, applications for payment and other commercial aspects of the project.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying and resolving technical, commercial and programme issues.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded electrical contractor delivering high-profile commercial fit-out projects across London.

Our client specialises in the delivery of high-quality electrical installations across the commercial sector, with a strong reputation for professionalism, technical expertise and successful project delivery. They work with a range of prestigious clients and main contractors, delivering projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager looking to take responsibility for CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects, working on some of London's most prominent commercial developments.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, to specification and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial electrical installations and fit-out.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing electrical projects within the commercial fit-out sector.
• Experience delivering CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out projects.
• A strong understanding of electrical installations and construction processes.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of project programmes, procurement and commercial management.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety and electrical compliance.
• A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and/or a recognised construction/project management qualification
