Job summary

Kedro Search are recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager for an established MEP contractor to deliver CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects in Central London. You will manage electrical packages from start to handover, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical building services, SMSTS, and qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ/HNC/HND or a degree, with delivery on £1m–£7m scopes.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager for MEP/Building Services Contractors.
• Strong track record delivering commercial CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out projects.
• Experience managing electrical packages valued between £1m and £7m.

An established and reputable MEP Contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team, working on commercial projects across Central London.

The company has been established for over 20 years, has a turnover of approximately £25m, and specialises in delivering high-quality commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.

Projects are predominantly based in Central London, with typical MEP values ranging from £1m to £7m.

The Role

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical package from commencement through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to budget and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role Will Include

• Managing electrical packages on commercial CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.
• Managing electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Managing programme, quality, health & safety and project delivery.
• Monitoring progress and resolving technical and project issues.
• Managing labour, materials and project resources.
• Working closely with the commercial team.
• Attending project meetings and providing regular project updates.
• Managing testing, commissioning and handover.

Requirements

The successful Electrical Project Manager will ideally have:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager working for an MEP / Building Services Contractor.
• Strong experience delivering commercial CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out projects.
• Experience managing electrical packages valued between £1m and £7m.
• SMSTS qualification.
• A relevant electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree.
• Qualifications in Electrical Installations, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services and MEP project delivery.
• Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
