The role requires a recognised electrical qualification or time-served background, strong technical knowledge, and experience in retail, commercial or industrial environments. Travel and leadership responsibilities are central to the position.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or time-served electrician background.
• Strong electrical knowledge and technical understanding.
• Experience in electrical project or contracts management.
• Experience in retail, commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Able to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Willing to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple projects from commencement through to completion.
• Attending client and site meetings.
• Managing site issues and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Monitoring project costs and ensuring work is delivered within budget.
• Preparing and negotiating variations and final accounts.
• Coordinating with the estimating team and reviewing project estimates.
• Planning labour, materials and resources across multiple projects.
• Liaising with clients, site teams and subcontractors.
• Supporting existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for new work.
• Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timescales and financial constraints.
