Job summary

Our client, an electrical contractor based in County Durham, seeks a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple nationwide projects, manage site meetings, client relations, budgeting, and resource planning. The role requires a qualified electrician background, strong communication, and ability to travel across the UK.

You will coordinate with the estimating team and ensure timely delivery within cost constraints. Role is full-time and site-based with travel to customer sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in overseeing multiple contracts and managing site teams.
• Ability to review estimates and coordinate with estimating team.
• Strong communication with clients, staff and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of contracts and ensure projects finish on time and within budget.
• Attend site meetings and resolve issues to maintain client relations.
• Prepare cost variations and negotiate final accounts statements.
• Review estimates and coordinate with estimating team.
• Plan resources (labour/materials) for multiple projects and ensure smooth delivery.
