Job summary

CDM Recruitment seeks an Electrical Project / Contracts Manager to lead electrical projects from start to finish across retail, commercial or industrial sites. Based in Seaham with nationwide travel, you will drive delivery, budgets and client satisfaction.

You will attend client/site meetings, manage variations and final accounts, and coordinate with estimating and site teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification or time-served electrician background.
• Strong electrical knowledge and technical understanding.
• Experience in electrical project or contracts management.
• Experience in retail, commercial or industrial environments.
• Good commercial and financial awareness.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Flexibility to travel nationwide.
