Job summary

CHIVAS BROTHERS LTD is seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Electrical to deliver top spend Capex projects at Miltonduff, Elgin. You will ensure electrical deliverables meet Operations needs and stay within time and cost constraints.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, hands-on design experience, and strong collaboration with global engineering teams to align with standards and regional requirements. A path toward chartered status is encouraged.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar) with interest in progression toward chartered status.
Experience delivering engineering projects in production or process environments.
Experience in Electrical Design including Switchgear Specification, Cable Calculations, lighting/emergency lighting design and Fire/Security systems.

Responsibilities

Apply Global Technology Templates and regional standards in drafting technical specifications.
Support Capex studies (FEED, detailed design) and project delivery.
Develop Electrical Upgrade programmes with guidance from Senior PM.
Assist in RFPs, vendor selection and constructability reviews.
Coordinate with Global Engineering on equipment selection and regional standards.
Support FAT/SAT with start-up leads and ensure technical compliance.
