Job summary

Aureos in Scotland's Highlands & Islands is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical projects from tender handover through to final delivery. You will coordinate engineers, electricians, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to meet programme, cost, and quality targets.

The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance with BS 7671, and ongoing client engagement; Chartered status or PM qualification is desirable, with travel to client sites and on-site

Qualifications

Essential electrical project management experience across commercial/industrial/infrastructure sectors.
Strong understanding of electrical installations and distribution systems.
Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour teams.
Contract administration and project financial management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical installation and infrastructure projects from tender handover to final completion.
Develop and maintain project programmes, resource plans and budgets.
Coordinate engineers, electricians, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
Ensure delivery is safe, efficient and meets client requirements.
Monitor performance against programme, cost and quality targets.
Oversee procurement of materials, plant and specialist services.
Conduct site visits, progress meetings and documentation reviews.
Ensure compliance with BS 7671, health and safety and company procedures.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; manage changes.
Produce regular reports for senior management and clients.
Support estimating and tendering activities as needed.
Oversee commissioning, testing, handover and completion documentation.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
