Job summary

Samuel Frank Associates Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer to join a major manufacturing site in Deeside, North West. You will deliver capital projects from concept through commissioning, working within a large engineering team.

The role requires 2+ years in electrical project roles, with strong communication and project management. The package includes £46-50k salary, paid overtime, a 10% pension, a quarterly bonus and BUPA, with 28 days holiday and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience in Electrical Project/Project Engineer roles.
• Experience with CapEx, plant improvement or engineering projects in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong communication, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of continuous process manufacturing is beneficial.
• Knowledge of CDM, functional safety, machinery safety, Siemens or Rockwell PLCs, AC/DC drives or instrumentation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver capital projects from concept through installation and handover.
• Manage scope, budgets, programmes, contractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare project plans, specifications, risk assessments and MOC documents.
• Oversee equipment suppliers and on-site installation activities.
• Support plant improvement and process development projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, maintenance, procurement and HSE teams.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget and safe project delivery.
