Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to deliver top spend Capex projects, ensuring deliverables are technically ready for Operations. The role focuses on electrical design, standards alignment, and coordinating with global/regional teams across the UK and Ireland.

You will support FEED and detailed design studies, manage budgets, and coordinate with procurement, vendors and start-up leads to secure successful project outcomes with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with interest in chartered status.
• Experience delivering engineering projects in a production or process environment.
• Experience in electrical design including switchgear, cable calculations, lighting and fire/security systems.
• Experience in risk management, stakeholder engagement and financial planning within project environments.
• Understanding of project budgets and ability to work with colleagues to support delivery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft technical specifications applying Global Technology Templates and regional standards.
• Support Capex studies (FEED, detailed design) and ensure deliverables meet cost and time targets.
• Develop Electrical Upgrade programme with support of Senior Engineering Project Manager.
• Assist Procurement/PM with RFPs, vendor selection and constructability reviews.
• Align with Global Engineering Team in equipment selection meeting regional standards.
• Assist at FAT/SAT with start-up leads and ensure technical performance.
• Ensure documentation and asset management routines are prepared for handover.
• Provide technical support on site during execution and commissioning.
