Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a DC Project. The role focuses on HV/LV distribution, generator, UPS and busbar systems, with emphasis on safety and design integrity.

You will collaborate with clients and design teams across Europe on international projects, with growth and chartership opportunities. A degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer.
Experience in mission critical sectors and complex projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams for HV, LV, generator, UPS and busbar systems.
Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, permit-to-work and energisation procedures.
Conduct detailed design reviews for high/low voltage equipment, protection systems and earthing.
Specify, select and procure equipment including client-supplied transformers, switchgear, generators and UPS.
Prepare technical specs and enquiry documentation for subcontract packages.
