Job summary
Thames Water Utilities Limited is looking for a Resilience Project Engineer (Electrical) to strengthen power resilience across its water and wastewater sites. You will lead LV site assessments, develop resilience solutions, and work with delivery teams to ensure planned investments meet resilience and safety standards.
The role offers a permanent full-time arrangement with a 36-hour week and locations across Basingstoke, Reading, Mogden, and other sites.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering, designing and estimating LV engineering projects.
- Experience applying health and safety regulations to electrical projects.
- Ability to work independently while building relationships and using initiative.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to apply LV electrical engineering and Power Resilience principles.
- Data analysis and reporting for technical and compliance purposes.
Responsibilities
- Lead LV site and system Power Resilience assessments, producing surveys and data packs.
- Develop Power Resilience solutions and contribute to design options and scopes.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure investments meet resilience standards.
- Apply problem-solving and analytical thinking to improve resilience and safety.
- Maintain technical records, tests, inspections, drawings and plans.
