Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrician/Electrical Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance across a contract. You will inspect, test and repair electrical building-services systems, ensuring safety and compliance, with on-call duties after hours.

You will work closely with the Site Supervisor to complete tasks within SLAs, maintaining distribution boards, lighting and control systems while upholding high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds or equivalent).
• BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Experience completing planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• CSCS or ECS card, or equivalent.
• First Aid training (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs within SLAs/KPIs.
• Maintain, inspect and repair electrical building-services equipment (distribution boards, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, control systems).
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and component replacements; carry out testing within your scope.
• Attend emergency call-outs and participate in on-call rota; ensure safety and compliance.
