Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring for a maintenance technician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems at a UK site. You will handle service sheets, compliance logs and contractor oversight, with out-of-hours on-call duties as part of a rotating schedule.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services and solid safety documentation knowledge. IT literate with Excel/MS Office skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ, or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services along with proven maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid.
• IT Literate - Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and participate in delivering service.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship.
• Support the site supervisor with integrated delivery of contracted services ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
