TechNichols Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to service plant and machinery across the factory, with fault finding, PMs and project work. The role involves PLC troubleshooting, sensors, drives and 3‑phase equipment, working with Electrical and Mechanical teams and ensuring safe, right‑first‑time output.

Ideal candidates have an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, and a background in manufacturing/automation.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or hold electrical engineering qualifications.
• Electrical maintenance, service or installation background.
• Experience with 3 phase, star/delta motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, relays, control panels.
• Manufacturing/industrial/automation experience.
• Willingness to learn and take on training; adaptable attitude.
• Friendly and proactive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Maintain plant and machinery via fault finding, preventive maintenance and project work.
• Troubleshoot / fault find on PLC equipment (Siemens, others).
• Maintain sensors, relays, contactors, drives and motors in the factory.
• Work with Electrical and Mechanical teams to resolve engineering matters.
• Provide input to improve machinery and systems.
• Ensure safe working practices and right‑first‑time output.
• Identify solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate effectively and keep logs of work and hours.
