Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in North Lincolnshire. The role focuses on supporting automated production equipment, with a strong electrical bias and PLC experience.

You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on PLC-controlled machinery, and work across Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider systems, as well as inverters and motors. A proactive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• This role requires an electrical bias with PLC experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability is essential.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens or Schneider) is preferred.
• 18th Edition is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and automation equipment.
• Respond quickly to electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults on PLC-controlled machinery and drive systems.
• Maintain inverters/VSDs and motors across automated lines.
• Record maintenance using CMMS and comply with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve reliability.
