Job summary

CBW are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large commercial campus near Sittingbourne. The role covers electrical planned and reactive maintenance across a static site.

You will perform lighting, emergency lighting tests, control panels, BMS monitoring and logbooks, and maintain mechanical plant, pumps, motors, seals and bearings. City & Guilds Level 2/3 and 17th/18th Edition are required, along with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2/3 electrical qualification.
• 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical planned and reactive maintenance on a static site.
• Maintain lighting, emergency lighting tests, and control panels.
• Manage BMS system monitoring (hot/cold) and logbooks.
• Maintain mechanical plant, pumps, motors, seals, and bearings.
• Support contractors and manage water treatment and air handling units.

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Sittingbourne. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large commercial campus located in Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out Electrical planned and reactive maintenance across this static site. Working with the maintenance team on-site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Package

• Up to £40,000 per annum

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installations, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update logbooks
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Cooling Towers
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
• 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3 (Required)
• 17th/18th Edition (Required)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
