Job summary

Electrical Maintenance Engineer role based near Sittingbourne on a large commercial campus. The successful candidate will be fully qualified with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, carrying out electrical planned and reactive maintenance on-site.

The position offers a competitive salary up to £40,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a company pension. The role requires City & Guilds Level 2/3 and 17th/18th edition, with certificates to be provided.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3 (Required).
• 17th/18th Edition (Required).
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Client facing role on a static site.

Responsibilities

• Lighting and small installations fault-finding.
• Emergency lighting tests.
• Control panels and BMS monitoring.
• Logbook maintenance and updates.
• Plumbing and toilets maintenance.
• Monitor mechanical plant and pumps.
• Cooling towers and air handling units maintenance.
• Water treatment and general building fabric upkeep.

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Sittingbourne. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large commercial campus located in Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out Electrical planned and reactive maintenance across this static site. Working with the maintenance team on-site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installations, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update logbooks
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Cooling Towers
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment
• General building fabric

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
• 08:00 am to 17:00 pm
