Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a static, single-man site in Farringdon. You will perform planned and reactive commercial building maintenance on a dedicated site, with a salary up to £50,000 and a route for progression.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, be 18th Edition compliant, and provide trade certificates. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential for success on this role.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical - Level 3.
• 18th Edition knowledge and compliance.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Multi-skilled with good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lighting: installation, fault finding, lamping.
• Emergency lighting tests and maintenance.
• Control panels and ballast changes.
• BMS monitoring and log book upkeep.
• Plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets.
• Pumps and motors maintenance on site.
• Adhere to planned preventative and reactive maintenance regimes.
• Standby rota for emergency calls.

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Farringdon has arisen.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a static Electrical Engineer to be based in Farringdon, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance on a single-man site. The successful candidate will currently be an electrical engineer and have a strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance works at various commercial properties.

This position would be ideal for an Electrical Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 8 am to 5 pm

Package Details

• Salary of £50,000

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
• Changing taps/washers
• Managing priorities within contract constraints.
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals.
• Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
• Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.
