Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a single-man site in Farringdon. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial buildings, focusing on lighting, emergency lighting, control panels and BMS systems, with a route for progression.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime and a £50k salary. 25 days holiday and a weekly callout rotation accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical - Level 3.
• 18th Edition.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lighting installation, fault-finding and lamping.
• Emergency lighting tests and maintenance.
• Control panels and ballast changes.
• BMS system monitoring and balancing.
• Maintain and update log books.
• Plumbing tasks like unblocking toilets and pumps.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Up to £50,000 - Brand New Commercial Office - Farringdon - Single-man site

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? Are you looking for a position to manage your own site? An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Farringdon has arisen.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a static Electrical Engineer to be based in Farringdon, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance on a single-man site. The successful candidate will currently be an electrical engineer and have a strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance works at various commercial properties.

This position would be ideal for an Electrical Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
• Changing taps/washers
• Managing priorities within contract constraints.
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals.
• Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
• Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.

Requirements

• Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical - Level 3
• 18th Edition
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
