Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a Greenwich site, working indoors with a small shift team. The role focuses on electrical and general building maintenance, including PPMs and reactive tasks, with a pathway for progression.

The successful candidate will have City & Guilds and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. The package includes up to £48,500, overtime, training, and a pension.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance across large building sites.
• PPMs and reactive maintenance experience.
• Ability to multi-skill across building services.
• Good communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lighting installation and fault-finding.
• Perform emergency lighting tests and checks.
• Operate and monitor control panels.
• Replace ballasts and lamps as needed.
• Monitor BMS system and log readings.
• Maintain and update log books for site.
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets.
• Operate pumps and motors on site.

Job description

Electrical Engineer - Day Shift - FM Service Provider - Greenwich - Up to £48,500

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Greenwich has arisen!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in Greenwich, located a 10-minute walk from Greenwich station, to be based out of 1 large site with occasional travel to smaller sites in the local area. He or she will be required to carry out PPMs and reactive building maintenance working within a shift team of 4 engineers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in Electrical & general building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £48,500, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday - Sunday
• 5 on 3 off
• 7 on 2 off
• 7 on 4 off
• All between the hours of 8am - 6pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3 (Required)
• 18th Edition (Desirable)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
