CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a large commercial campus in Sittingbourne. The role focuses on electrical planned and reactive maintenance on a static site, with a solid track record in building services.

You will carry out lighting, emergency lighting, control panels, BMS monitoring, and site logging. A City & Guilds electrical qualification and 17th/18th Edition are required, with certificates to be shown on request.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification with City & Guilds Level 2/3.
• 17th/18th Edition compliance is required.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lighting maintenance and fault-finding on small installations.
• Emergency lighting tests and bulb replacements.
• Control panels and ballast changes.
• BMS monitoring and logbook updates.
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets.
• Monitor mechanical plant and pumps.
• Maintenance of cooling towers and air handling units.
• General building fabric upkeep and contractor escort.

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Sittingbourne. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large commercial campus located in Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out Electrical planned and reactive maintenance across this static site. Working with the maintenance team on-site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installations, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update logbooks
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Cooling Towers
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
• 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3 (Required)
• 17th/18th Edition (Required)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
