Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions seeks an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site team in a commercial retail environment in Woking.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across lighting, emergency lighting, AHU/chillers, water treatment, plumbing, pumps, BMS monitoring and UPS readings, working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. DBS clearance is required, and immediate start is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2/3 and 18th edition.
• DBS clearance is required or willingness to obtain one.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lighting: installation, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, power distribution.
• Emergency lighting maintenance and testing.
• Air Conditioning: AHU/FCU, filter changes, cleaning.
• Chillers: reset procedures.
• Water treatment: temperature checks and dosing.
• Plumbing: unblock toilets.
• Pumps and motors maintenance.
• Water treatment monitoring.
• BMS system monitoring (hot/cold readings).
• UPS systems monitoring and readings.

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Woking, Surrey. CBW is currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a Commercial Retail Environment. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance to the following :

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Reset
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Hours of work / Rate / contract details Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Starting ASAP £26p/h Temporary Ongoing

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3, 18th edition
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• MUST HAVE DBS OR WILLING TO DO A DBS
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
